I never knew until today that Tiffany started making his own glass because other glassmakers wouldn’t leave the impurities in…Tiffany harnessed these unique “blemishes” and allowed them to work together. Obviously, his work has sustained to this day.
We can make the same choice, do we try to erase our imperfections? Do we strive to create a homogenous and transparent existence? Or do we look at those flaws and see something that can build together with others for something beautiful, unique and enduring?
